WEC works on education field also, it focused on basic to advanced level education in Nirnay Nagar, specially work for down trodden and under priveledge children providing free education or partial fees. One of our computer education center provide basic to advance level. Many camps were organized for carrier counseling and next level education. “Health & Sanitation” program was initiated for the unorganized women kamdars especially BPL families in various wards of Ahmedabad. Dr Daksha Maitrak, Assistant Health Officer, AMC, Dr Trupti Maitrak, Project Director , WEC, Ms Priti Priyadarshi, MD, WEC and Shri Manish Thakkar, Software Engineer, AMT Sinitiated this project with the aim of changing the daily habit pattern of slum dwellers. Nail cutters, tooth brushes etc. were distributed.
